  • LStat Colloquium

    Monday, May 14, 2012, from 10 till 12:15

10 -- 11 am: Componentwise classification of functional data, by  Prof. Dr Aurore Delaigle, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Melbourne Australia,

11:15 -- 12:15: Estimation and selection in varying coefficient models, by Prof. Dr Anneleen Verhasselt, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Antwerp University.

Location: Room 02.18, Department of Mathematics, Celestijnenlaan 200B, Heverlee.

Drinks will be provided (from 9:45 onwards), and sandwiches (lunch) are provided afterwards.

  • For students taking courses in Hasselt the regulation for reimbursement of travel costs has changed:

for students up to the age of 25 only Campus rail cards will be reimbursed! For students of 26 years and older a Rail Pass (2nd class) will be reimbursed or any other 2nd class rail ticket which is cheaper than the Rail Pass (currently € 7,60).
