As statistician, you can be employed in academic research, industry, banks, or in government institutions. Depending on your major, you will, for instance, design clinical trials and give support in the biomedical sector, coach research for new medicines, set up and analyse psychological tests and surveys, perform risk-analyses in the financial world, statistically manage R&D projects and quality controls, or develop statistical software.
